On Sunday after the wedding, Kevin and I tried to locate our neighbor's farm. We drove passed it, and stopped to take a picture of this farm house on the back of a truck. The next thing a car drove up and re directed us back to our neighbor's farm.

I was a passenger when I shot this using my canon S3. Kevin and I left Fort Collins on Friday and headed out to Kearney NE for a wedding on Saturday. We were chased across the plains by this glorious setting sun. 1/125, f/8.0 12.4mm.

Erie is home to a number of bars cum restaurants. Here we are at the Kaddyshack - a traditional BBQ place. Again I am using my little Canon s3. The canon has a Super Macro button that allows you to get in real close. I wanted to through the background out of focus - but I liked the way light was streaming in highlighting the long bar. 1/20, f2.7 6mm. ISO 800. This is a very slow shutter speed that in a normal DSLR I wouldn't dream of hand holding. But the s3 is very light and easy to hold - and does a fine job of getting the shot. Not super sharp very close up and pretty grainy given the IS0 and the pixel count. But not bad.

I was at 144th and I-25 for a lunch meeting. As I was exiting the parking lot I noticed this impressive looking storm. I am facing South. Now is the time for severe weather - there is enough heat during the day for some impressive looking storm cells.
